Job Purpose & Primary Objectives:

Benchmark Space Systems is seeking a Propulsion and Fluid Systems Engineer to help us define the new space ecosystem. Your work would include clearly defining fluid system requirements, construction of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), COTS component sourcing and qualification, custom component development, and component/system level test and verification. In this role you would act as a fluid system components subject matter expert to help bridge the gap between mechanical design and thruster development. This candidate would also work closely with external suppliers and the Benchmark procurement and management teams to ensure program success.

Applicants should be comfortable working on a small team supporting multiple fast-paced projects. As part of the Engineering Department, this candidate would work closely with mechanical design, electrical, software, and systems engineers throughout the full product life cycle. This job posting is for our Burlington, VT or Pleasanton, CA facilities. We cannot accept remote applicants for this position at this time.
